At 8:00 am on Saturday, February 1st, 2020, the fifteenth-annual Stage Lighting Super Saturday all-day seminar will take place at the NYC College of Technology, home to the renowned City Tech Entertainment Technology program.
Once again, this popular annual seminar is for those wishing to learn about stage, architectural, or entertainment lighting. The sessions will not be too basic nor too advanced. The intense all day seminar will be led by theatre lighting professionals presenting sessions covering inspiration, training, product, and just doing it.

For 15 years stage lighting enthusiasts have attended this intensive all-day seminar led by leading theatre lighting professionals. This year's special guest is Tony Award winning Lighting Designer Jennifer Tipton will lead a panel discussion of fellow noted lighting designers. Past panelists have included Natasha Katz, Howell Binkley, Don Holder, Ken Billington, and Brian MacDevitt – also all winners of the Tony Award for Best Lighting Design.
Scott C. Parker: has been a freelance lighting designer for over 30 years and is currently the Director of Event Lighting for IMS Technology Services. Scott produces the annual Stage Lighting Super Saturday workshop in New York City, co-founded with the infamous Sonny Sonnenfeld in 2005. Scott served as Chair for the USITT NY Area Section and is active at the annual USITT national conferences. Rutgers, Temple, Columbus State, Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film, Pace, City Tech, City College, Edward R. Murrow School, and Berkeley Carroll School have all enjoyed, or put up with, his teaching.
